Cleaning and polishing the leather and metalwork is both hard work and time consuming.

The harness and the bridle are completely stripped down. The leather is cleaned thoroughly on both sides with saddle soap and protective oils are applied. After drying the front is polished to a high shine.

The metalwork is also thoroughly cleaned before being polished, including the back.
